How to introduce and use erotica  and

In many drugstores a cheaper generic version of plain personal lubricant might also work just as well.

Either partner can apply it, but it is a courteous thing for the male to offer to apply it.  Don't make it a big deal. Think of it more as a friendly, act than a sexy gesture, applying lube will make the those sexy gestures that come later more likely...

Second:  For a change of pace you may want to try one of the  lubricating warming gels for her most sensitive part.  (Her clitoral area).

Most of the other fancy, expensive lubricants are just sales pitches.

Clean:  
Although sharing a shower can be great you might find showering separately it is a good way to give your partner a bit of time to start reading an erotic story instead.  It should be needless to say but if you are at home and you have the time, clean is always a good way to start.

Shared climax:

Although there are many variations as the Kama Sutra has illustrated, still there is only one position for consistent mutual orgasm.  With the woman on her back, warm and friendly the man slides down to lay nearly sideways beneath her. Both of her legs may be above his body or one leg may be intertwined with his legs.  This gives the man the chance to do the two most important things for mutual orgasm. 

In this position the man can control his movement and therefore his timing by the degree of stimulation that is right for him and also allows him freedom to use his well-lubed fingers to bring the woman to orgasm at about the same time as his.
